WINEMAKER'S NOTES:

A singe of struck match introduces this wine but it offers plenty of sun-drenched yellow plum and quince flavors too. Medium bodied and bracingly fresh, it balances the richness of this hot vintage with spine-tingling acidity and a delicately smoky finish. The wine is ready now but should hold through 2027.
